  1. I was told my disability benefits would come on my Direct Express card in February, however it is still a negative $4.00. Social Security has yet to put any payments on my card. They continue to send checks which defeats having the card. I have no bank account so I have to pay to have the checks cashed. This is after I drove to Socal security 6 times in February. Spoke to a manager twice, and still they don’t know how to put my disability on the card they recommended. They might want to think about hiring someone more qualified. With all of the delays I am unable to pay bills, buy groceries, including pet food, and have had to rehome my pets.

    • Get rid of that card. They have 3 months of my money. It’s been 6 months of them putting obstacles up . A person whom can’t speak will never meet.

    • My friend uses cashapp and it works for him for both SSD/SSI deposits. It’s so much easier, less of a hassle, you get paid up to two days before the check comes in. If you haven’t known this info I’m giving you. If not, just open a personal bank account that’s it.

  3. I’m tired of all the payments going to seniors with disabilities or other government help. I’m disabled and will be for life as far as I can figure and I’m in debt and struggling. Please you people in charge give the regular disability people some help too. We are in the same boats as the seniors when it comes to money. Its nice what you’re doing for our older Gen but there’s other people in the world. How bout uplifting a disability or ssi income so we aren’t struggling as much. I can’t even get snap because the dhs never calls when they say they will and just write no answer. They don’t call to be answered. Then they give just days to get all your verification in with a new online website but I need help deciphering the technology I’m almost senior. Someone hel dhs and their dirty deeds I believe are put there to keep me struggling cause of my color. You don’t gear of the typical recipients getting done like that. One day I received a notice for call on the day she was supposedly calling but it arrived later thatday and it was for the same day but earlier snd I checked my incoming calls. No dhs. They sent that notice 2 days b4 my appt date. Everyone knows the postal service is more like pony express nowadays. So I got another no show on that call. Getting help is becoming illogical and not helpful. I do believe had I and my family been black with 5 kids we would been ushered in on a red carpet and given back pay along with a lot of money for food. Kids or not.

  6. It sure would be nice if everyone on so and disability got $2600. I’m on disability and raising my kids I’m 43 and paying bills, and my disability is my only income. It’s hard. It should be offered to everyone not just seniors on ssi and disability.
